The Decatur Police, TX feed (which includes Wise County S.O.) had some good audio around the 24 minute mark with the chase of a black Cadi that MAY HAVE BEEN the suspect vehicle in the DOC Director murder in Monument, as Bob mentioned earlier...

The suspect vehicle with Colorado plates that was firing at officers crashed at 11:23 am Texas time and that's when they shot and killed him. He had previously shot a deputy 3 times (according to the feed audio), once in the chest.

And it started to the county north of that (Montague County) and the Nocona Fire and Police Dispatch has the initial emergency traffic from the deputy shot in the chest at about 20 minutes into this audio at 11:03 am (the shooting occurred at 287 SB just south of 59):

The Colorado plate was 773 UHZ on a 1991 Black Cadillac.

I just heard that this vehicle MAY be tied to the pizza delivery driver murder out of Denver also. Denver PD and Golden PD investigators are on their way down to Texas too. They should pick up El Paso County detectives on their way through here.

Montague County Deputy James Boyd was shot in the chest during a traffic stop today, his vest saved his life.

It must be a strong connection with both murders to be sending El Paso County, Denver PD, and Boulder PD investigators down there. We won't know until they get to Texas from Colorado and do some digging.

The possible link to the Tuesday night slaying of Colorado prison director Tom Clements is tentative but intriguing enough to put Colorado investigators on a plane to Texas. The black Cadillac the man drove, with Colorado license plates, matches the description of a car spotted outside Clements' home just before the Department of Corrections chief was fatally shot while answering his front door.

ABC News confirmed authorities are also investigating if the suspect was involved in the killing of a Denver Domino’s pizza driver. Authorities told Clayton Sandell of ABC News evidence found Thursday in the suspect’s car, including a Domino's pizza jacket, may link the suspect to the unsolved murder of Nathan Leon, 27.

Texas gunman ID'd, may be linked to Colorado slayings

The Cadillac had two different Colorado plates and was tied to the Clements murder.

Sources tell FOX4 there was a pizza delivery uniform found in the Cadillac.

Colorado authorities say just days before Clements was killed, pizza delivery man Nathan Collin Leon was shot dead in a Denver suburb.

The man who killed Clements apparently wore a pizza delivery uniform to coax the Corrections Department Official to his front door where he was shot.
