I was wondering if STARCOM21 has any talk groups that are specifically dedicated to pursuits.

I am looking to organize pursuit and manhunt related talk groups into a single playlist on the Calls platform. If anyone has any information or suggestions, I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance!

ISPERN is used for chases, and its the unofficial chase channel for Chicago area pursuits. Its TG 9051, also look into CPD's Citywide 1, 5 and 6. Other than that, ISP's Operations "B channel".

I created a "System" for SCom for all the "ITTF" Talk Groups and they are many and have heard a lot on there at times,... Also a System for Mabas TGs specifically TG 4828 for lost children etc as they use drones and dogs

ISP refers to ISPERN as "PRIORITY ONE, " but it still answers the counties, cities, villages, and towns when they call "Troop 3 Chicago" for flash messages. All ISP units call "PRIORITY ONE."

Examples are:

Emergency alerts: Warning about severe weather, traffic accidents, vehicle pursuits, or other emergencies.
Incident reports: Providing updates on ongoing incidents or criminal activity.
Communication during disruptions: Serving as a backup communication channel when regular radio systems are down.

If it has the possibility of leaving local venue, all the local PD and sheriff's departments use ISPERN in my area. (Madison county and surrounding counties that I am aware of).

No...ISP Trrops still call it ISPERN. Some of the suburban departments had it programmed as Chicago-Priority by whomever programmed their radios.

9005 Chicago Band SAVE Ops 1
9006 SAVE Ops 2
9051 ISPERN Chicago priority None are pursuit only but this is where the ISP would be.

9005 is 3-A
9006 is 3-B

It's all listed in the dataabase. Any talk group can be utilized during a pursuit, depending on the nature of the incident here. As mentioned, units are advised to switch to ISPERN in most cases whenever possible.

I monitor Troop 3 Chicago, and I've only heard the state cars and the dispatcher call it PRIORITY ONE. Are you monitoring a different Troop in another part of the State?

Lake County utilizes their Countywide Talkgroup (33167) for any situation. It is sometimes patched on ISPERN as well.

All the ISPERN channels were changed to Priority x with the restructuring (i.e. Priority 16 for Troop 1, old D16 ISPERN Ch). Except for Chicago, Its either ISPERN or Chicago priority

Ive heard Troops 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 do it so far
I have never heard Troup 8 refer to it as anything but ISPERN. I'll listen up the next couple days, and see what I can hear. I know as of Monday night, it was still ISPERN, during a pursuit they had in the Belleville, EStL area. I have never heard "priority" anything come across from ISP.

Yea, its been a hot minute since ive heard it from 8 but I'm sure they ditched multiple priority channels to avoid confusion with locals
