I know there are bluetooth audio devices we can hookup to our scanners to send the audio everywhere in the house. But I was wondering, is there a wireless data USB cable as well? It would kind of neat to take the laptop into another room while using ProScan, but leaving the scanner in the other room, especially after I put up the external antenna later this year.

Not really, but there are wireless LAN adapters/bridges/etc that allow you to add your radio to your home network.

No idea if ProScan can or can't control the radio via your home network.

Thanks. Oh well. Someday maybe.

VirtualHere will do it. If you need a small footprint use a raspi as the host. If your scanner is next to a computer you can host it with that as well. Setting it up to work outside a local network requires a little more work, but local is super easy. Run both my P25RX's with VirtualHere and can access them with my laptop anywhere in the house
