Thought this would be a good place to ask. I have a new (refurb) DR-1X that just went live last week. It appears to be operating well, but had a couple of questions.
One, while I have the repeater hooked up to a Wires-X room via an HRI200, if I wanted to move off of that onto Echolink, is there a best option? The ability to remote in via phone app would be valuable to the people who want to get on the machine, and I don't know if Wires-X will ever get there?
Two, are there any secret squelch tail or other related config settings that I should know about? I have the tail set to 0ms, but the repeater still holds it open for a good 1/2 second after transmission. I have set it to different lengths in the settings, but it doesn't seem to affect things. Just curious if there is a known bug or issue, or if I'm missing something.
