Hey everyone.. I am having an extremely difficult time connecting to my radios. I have the mobile F5061 and the handheld F3161S. These both use the same driver and same program. I already had it set up at one time, it took me dozens of different tries, but I eventually got it to work on both radios without any problems. But the radios would only program if I had them plugged into specific COM ports, each radio worked with a different port. They never worked on my 64-bit OS, so I got them working on a 32-bit OS. Well the 32-bit OS computer was completely wiped clean so I had to reinstall everything. Now I cannot get a good configuration and nothing will work! I am running 32-bit OS of Vista (SP1) - that has not changed since the last time everything was working correctly. I installed the driver, but when I go into the device manager and look it up, it says that there is no driver for the cable. I've did the "auto find", "disk search", and manual search. When I install the driver from the disk, it says it's installed, but for some reason it will not attatch itself to work with the cable. IT IS THE SAME DRIVER & SAME CABLES that I already had working earlier. I even tried installing the XP driver but that didn't work either. I'm completely lost as to what to do next, so I thought maybe someone could help me out here before I try to contact my dealer for help.
