Hi all. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to a Happy New Year soon.

I've been playing around with DSD+ trying to learn all the commands and ran across where you can set positions in the BAT file to have the windows come up where you want them on startup. I've been able to get the Event Log, Source Audio, and Channel Activity Windows set to where I want them, but can't find a command (if any) that will set the main decode window. Is there such a command, and if so, what?

Edit: I forgot to say I've looked thru all the text files and couldn't find anything for that window.

Thanks!

Use a shortcut on your desktop to run the batch file and in that shortcut's properties, specify the main window's size and screen location. It's in the Layout tab.

You can also change the main window's colors from the Colors tab. I usually use black for Screen Text and a medium color for Screen Background.

Some of the standard colors work well as background colors: 192 192 192 (Grey); 0 255 255 (Cyan)

Or make your own: 150 220 150 (Pale Green)

Here are some sample colors: The Safe Internet Colors

When trunk tracking known systems, I don't need the main FMP or DSD+windows, so I use the -_1 switch (minimize main window) in the batch files.

Thanks Slicer. The shortcut to run the bat file did the trick. However, getting the window just where I wanted it was alot of trial and error. But got it now. Thanks again for your reply.

Move the main window to where you want it, then move one of the other DSD+ windows over it so their upper left corners align, then press 'W' to determine the window origin. Just gotta be creative! :)

Another great tip! I guess I'm just not very creative! Thanks.
