I got DSD working last night on our local ProVoice system. I'm using an iMic with a Dell 1012 netbook and i've set the input volume of the iMic to be very low.
I've noticed that the opening packets of each transmission are garbled, and show up about 23% on the terminal window running DSD. The packet percentage will drop down to about 15%, then 7% and then stay at a consistent 2% for the remainder of the transmission. The audio improves as the percentage decreases.
Any idea what could be causing this, and what I can do to improve the demodulation?
