Brand new to DSD+

I have tried to use the example formats for the FREQUENCIES, NETWORKS and SITES files to customize the alias(s) of each,
but whatever I have tried seems to error out.

Would someone be so kind as to provide me with a working sample of each style?

Thanks that is an enormous amount of help and exactly what I was looking for.

Is there any way to deal with the DMR systems that don't use a System ID code?

It seems they all get labeled "0", so I imagine the GROUPS and RADIOS files could easily start getting mixed together between systems.

Assuming you are using the "Fast Lane" version...
You need to read the documentation that comes with the program. In the Notes file is a part that tells how to create a custom "System ID" to keep all the information generated by a specific system, site, group, and frequencies separate from mixing with other systems.

Just to expand on that, I think you need the Fast Lane version and you need to be using FMPA or FMP24 as your signal source and you have to be using TCP linking between FMPA/FMP24 and DSD+ (so DSD+ knows what frequencies you're monitoring). Then you can assign made up system IDs to Cap+ systems (they don't broadcast SysIDs). IIRC, you can also assign a made up "system ID" to conventional channels (DMR, NXDN, P25...), but I'd really have to double check and test that.

Prefix IDs can be made up for systems that use the same network ID, which seems to be common with TIII DMR systems (they almost all use the default network ID of 13...)

After you add frequency records for these made up system IDs, DSD+ will start creating group and radio records using those system IDs, which lets you have separate records for different systems despite them broadcasting no system IDs.
