Hi folks, I am noob with the dsd + fastlane, I'm running a sdr v3 with sdrsharp and v cable and of course dsd+ fastlane. It decodes very well dmr in single channel, but now I found a cap + net with some sites and as you. Know each call changes the slot and site. The dsd+ detects the channels I see that but don't takes the call and doesn't change the frequency to follow that.
I have some questions :
1 I need more than a one sdr for cap+?
2 how I can configurate the dsd + fastlane for cap+?

Sorry but I'm noob and I didn't find any manual in the net.

Thanks any help will be appreciated

I use 2 v3 dongles for cap+ with more than 1 frequency. I am unsure if only 1 dongle could be used?

You need to add lines to the "DSDPlus.frequencies" file.

Also "DSDPlus.networks" & "DSDPlus.sites" files.

With some sites, the frequencies appear in DSD+, which is very handy!

Read the DSDPlus.txt and FMP.txt files. Instructions are contained within.

Also the Trunking.txt file.

You're sending DSD+ audio output to VB Cable?

You're using FMP when you should be using FMP24?

You do if you use that SDR# DSD+ plugin, because that's the folder that it runs DSD+ in. It's ridiculous.

You do not have to have the DSD+ files in you SDR# folder. I think it's in the options of the DSD+ plugin that you tell it where to look for the DSD+ files to run DSD+ from. Sorry I am not sitting at my computer so I can't be any more specific and exact about it.

It is not necessary or wise to use sdr# (no point) the DSD+ plugin does not support fastlane versions anyway. You definately will not get P25 II.

You need to use FMP24 feeding DSD+ by using TCP connection

You should not be using a VB cable.

You should have a DSD+ folder with all the files supplied in it.

Now you can begin to set up to decode as intended.

No, that only tells the plugin where DSDPlus.exe is. It still runs DSD+ in the SDR# folder, which means the SDR# folder is where DSD+ looks for its data files (.networks, .sites, .groups, .radios, etc.) and that's where DSD+ writes its event log, .bin file, yadda yadda...

Someone who uses the plugin on a regular basis should be able to confirm this.

I can't confirm that one way or the other. I don't use DSD+ on a regular basis and when I do it's just to park it on a single freq for the neighboring sheriffs dept. Since that sheriffs dept only has one freq and only one or two deputies on at a time I don't pay any attention to data files. I learned something new.
