Just purchased an Air Spy Mini. When running DSD+FL using Air Spy parameters (FPMA_CC, R1a) it works well for a while and then loses the control channel.
If I try to retune to the control channel it does not lock to indicated frequency. If I restart the programs it works just fine for while then same problem occurs.
Running the mini on SDR Trunk now to eliminate the hardware....Any thoughts?
Thanks

P25... 20-30 minutes it loses the control channel it wont tune anything...Mini has been running on SDRTrunk for hours, same system, no problem
FYI have been running an RTL-SDR V3 on this same DSD+FL configuration with no issues.
Thanks

Unfortunately also I have this issue with DSDPlus Fastlane and FMPA (Airspy R2). I complained about it about a month ago in this forum but I thought I was alone.
"I noticed that no matter the frequency, and no matter the strength of the signals, the FMPA spectrum is doubled: left side is equal to right side and vice versa. A mirror image.
It does not matter if I press the "i" option.
The reception of Airspy+FMPA is quite well, but most of the times fictional freqs block real freqs."
The blockage of the frequencies can overcome not only the talk frequencies, but also the control channel and then DSDPlus gets lost.

A wise user recommended updating the airspy.dll of DSDPlus with a more current one, but that did not help.
I hope the programmers of DSDPlus will find the issue and fix it.

Interesting i never noticed the mirror image. only that what ever I select from the spectrum display it disappears.
Using DSD+FL V3.324

I am suffering from the mirroring with DSD+ FL version 2.303, but more important I guess, is the FMPA which is version 2.36, that I do not think has been changed since then.

What version are you all using? Haven't updated mine in several months and not have this issue
@sonm10 , Are you monitoring a P25 network? With FMPA 2.36? When looking at FMPA spectrum don't you see it is mirrored as in the picture I attached above?

The FMPA version appears when you start running it, at the beginning of the "cmd" screen text. Perhaps you can share the version number with us and we can try running it to see if that solves our issue?

Thank you very much for the info.
I am using FMPA 2.36 for some reason. (Probably I copied it from an older directory).
I will try the FMPA 2.37 (with your DSDPlus version and with a more current one) and hope for the best, though it does not seem to be mentioned in the Notes file that something was fixed between 2.36 and 2.37.

@sonm10 I tried FMPA2.37 with DSD+ 2.275 and with DSD+ 2.303, unfortunately the mirroring is still there.
When I simply start FMPA there is no mirroring, but when using the 1R method and it sits on a Control channel and then moves around the Talk Channels - the mirroring begins and it is very obstructive.
Are you using the 1R method (only one dongle as Combined VC/CC control)? If not, please try that:
When FMPA jumps from one freq to another, can you use the keyboard arrows and move the spectrum left or right manually and see if mirrored ghost frequencies travel to the opposite direction?

Strange but true
My issue with tuning loss was in the 850-860 band...tried a 450-460 P25 trunked system today and it has run fine all day...still running.
FMPA, 1Ra, default configurations....

I suffer from the mirroring in the 800 MHz and the 400 MHz bands. It is all over the spectrum, regardless of the frequency. It also happens with DMR and 1R.
When the FMPA starts moving automatically the mirroring begins and does not stop.
I hope the developers of Dsdplus could take a look.

Mini ran all day on a 850-860 P25 Phase2 system using SDRTrunk.
Ran 5 minutes on DSD+FL FMPA on same system before losing the CC and mirroring
