Was using DSDPlus 1.101 and after upgrading to Fast Lane Update i now get the following error.

Initiating FMPx link using link ID 20001...
FMPx link error = -5
[Server is not listening on selected link ID]

I'm using a SDR Play RSPdx with VB CABLE installed

I've encountered the same thing with my last update. For me, it Turns out that the INPUT menu keeps reverting to " use direct FMPx linking."
Try changing that to "use direct TCP linking."

OOPs, just noticed the part about SDR# - my advice is null and void! Sorry about that.

I had this issue last week. I deleted all files and did fresh download of all files.

Is this your first fastlane update and did you receive only one .EXE for DSDPlus 2.275?

If so I would suggest following the instructions in this post. Except edit the URL to '2p268'. That way you'll get the fastlane updates to FMP24. It looks like DSDPlus is trying to connect to the new FMP but it isn't installed.

Not to revive a dead thread, but I found a solution if you have a high DSD version but an outdated FMP. I wasn't patient enough to wait the 12 or so hours to get the updated files from emailing DSD fast lane support, so I tried to troubleshoot it myself.

In my case I had the latest version of DSD+ Fast Lane, V2.289, but an outdated version of FMP24, v2.65.

I changed the DSD option -i20001 to -iT127.0.0.1:20001

My understanding is that this changes the input from direct FMP link (which was updated in FMP v2.70?) to a TCP based link.

Worked for me, Hope this helps you!

update:
I also got an email back from DSD support. They said to download the Newest Base Files from the Misc menu in the DSD+ Program.

So this is the official way to download all updates and recover missing files according to the DSD+ team.

If you don't have the menu, you are WAY out of date. I think it was 2.228 it was added.
