I finally bit the bullet and installed Windows 10 pro on my computer, I hate it but gotta be done I guess.

So after installing it and trying to run DSDPlus 1.101 and Unitrunker, I am finding that DSD is not getting any signal. All of the DSDFastlane versions are working, Unitrunker is working, it just isn't sending the digital signal to DSD for decode. SDRSharp is also working and sending digital signal to DSD 1.101 for decode with no problems. Also VLC will not save any recordings is any version of DSDPlus?

I have compared my setup to my other laptop that is still on Windows 7 and all settings are the same. Is there something special that I need to do.

Thanks

P.S. It will be back to Windows 7 if I can't resolve this.

Are you using a VB Cable? That could be the roadblock or Win 10 audio settings

I have all versions of Unitrunker working on Win 10 also DSD+ public and FL + VBCable.

There is no reason that the setup should not work on the OS if all prerequisite for SW are met.

Yup, I am using VB Cable, and I do have it setup just as I do on my other Windows 7 laptop. The Windows 7 laptop is what I am listening to right now, and Windows 10 all is quiet. I am going to try something I haven't done yet and that is shut down Zonealarm, even though ZA is running on the other computer.

When I run Unitrunker, I can see on the scopes that the signal is active, it just isn't going to DSD, it is dead in the water.

Update, I now have it working butttt, I can't seem to run it without the digital noise. If I shut Virtual Audio Cable off the digital signal stops, I have to have VBC cable on, even if I mute the volume, it stops digital decoding. How can I mute the digital noise.

Thanks

If you're running Unitrunker v1.0.33.6, you need to send the Digital Output to the VB Cable and leave Analog Output set to Unspecified. If you're running UT v2.x, you should ask your questions in the UT Google group, as v2.x have not been released to the public yet.

Thanks, did that, no joy.

Have you got the mute on in signal?
Have you got both outputs in signal unspecified?
Have you got digi output in voice set to VBCable?
Have you got "listen" unchecked in VBCable audio settings?
Have you got VBCable set to default in win recording audio settings?

What is DSD+ reporting as the default outputs?
