TRX-2: DSP Software will not Update

Unable to update DSP file. TRX-2 is not connected to power, display is lit. Data cord removed and re-attached with File Explorer opening each time.

I get the attached error.

Thoughts?

I can't read that jpeg as it is way too small.

to do ANY firmware updates on a trx..you must have the scanner OFF, you must have the comport driver installed and working on the PC ( you check if it is working by trying to set the clock via ezscan). and the scanner must be connected to the PC via a usb data cable.

You will need to have the scanner on 12v power but not powered on. The display lit up when it get 5v from the USB but the radio are still dead and cannot update.

If you do not manage it anyway, then download the updater utility from whistlergroup.com. Hold the menu button while powering on and it should enter upgrade mode.
