I noticed today that Site 234 (TV Hill) is now showing as an adjacent site for Grand Mesa. It shows the control channel is 868.9875. I checked and I dont hear that control channel from home here in GJ.

Chris, You should have received an email that TV Hill was going to be turned on yesterday.

And yes TV Hill is in Paonia Eastern Delta County.

Sure, you will have to tell me how. I am new at this. The control channel is 868.9875, at least thats what displays on my screen when it goes back and forth from NAT to DAT on my BC796.

OK thanks for playing, not a problem you would need a 96 or 2096 to log the control channel, enjoy monitoring and please keep us advised on activity on the new site.

New DTRS Site in Huerfano County

Looks like Huerfano County just got their WINS funded DTRS site up. I think it's on Sheep Mtn and I'm now hearing the CC on 868.650. Here is a Pro96Com tower file for it.

I thought my last post of the tower file had too many channels in it for a rural site. Pro96com must have added the new tower information to the old. After deleting the my old tower0153.txt file and capturing again I now have a more reasonable list of channels.

Last week there was a missing person search in Delta Co. I heard one deputy on VHF say 'contact SO-2 on 800'. I was on ID Search and did not hear anything. A few days ago I heard 2 Delta Co deputies talking on Delta (868.5250) but did not get the talk group. Anyone else log the talk group? An article in the Delta Co Independent news about a year ago, the Sheriff said Delta Co would switch to CODTRS in 2007. Apparently they have purchased some hand held radios. (NOT pac-sets - a pac-set is a radio packed around on your back - I just had to put that in here as no place in the country except Colorado still refers to hand held radios as 'pac-sets').
