Is there a quick and easy way to check for duplicate talk group Id's on the psr-500? It's easy to check conv. channels.
Also what's the general thought about up loading all vs. only primary and secondary trunk freq.s to the radio?
Thanks,
Dave

Pointless. All you need are the primary CC and 1 site frequency.
If you load up a dup tg just delete the alternate. ;)

Typically what I have done is copy all the talk group ID's into a spreadsheet (from the Win500 program). A simple conditional format highlights any duplicates.

If you are using the Win500 software, there is a "Warn on Duplicate TGRP IDs" feature to prevent entering a duplicate TGRP via the software.
