We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Recently I have been receiving transmissions indicating that there is a "Channel 2" being used. All of the frequency listings show only one channel available for East Cleveland PD. Does anyone have any information on this "Channel 2" frequency?

Try 154.130 and 155.370.

I just checked the database and see that E Cleveland is licensed for a repeater on 154.130, on the same license as their normal 155.130 repeater. If that doesn't find it, try 155.370, Intercity. For agencies that are on VHF, this is a popular car to car channel.
