Eastpointe PD?

I am working on programming a scanner for the Macomb County area. I seem to be hearing everything except Eastpointe PD. I double checked the programming, and I have all the talkgroups listed in the database under Eastpointe, plus the one Eastpointe talkgroup listed in the SERESA law section. Everything is programmed using the Macomb Simulcast tower.

I did come across some newspaper articles from about two years ago talking about consolidation with Roseville and St. Claire Shores. Does this mean it's all being dispatched off the Roseville talkgroup?

Any insight would be great.

Hello, I think I will be able to help you. I live in eastpointe. Do you have the programming info for eastpointe? did you already hear st clair shores? roseville are cars with the 7 eastpointe are the cars with the 1 and shores cars have the 6.

The dispatch center is located in Roseville, but I don't think that it's under rosevilles talk group

@SeresaEastpointe, I programmed everything I could find on Eastpointe in the MPSCS... DEC 2939, 12083, and 2877. Two of those are from the Eastpointe subsection on the MPSCS page, and the last one is from the SERESA subsection. Are there others?

Yes there are others, were you considering creating a public feed? For what cities. What cities have you been able to hear. I can email you an eastpointe recording as an example if you want, let me know.

Yeah, that's exactly what I have, those specific talkgroups plus one more, 12083. Hmmm... maybe it was just a quiet time of the day??

The more important issue is which talkgroup it's on. That's probably the key issue here. We're concerned there is another talkgroup out there that we don't have.

I hear Eastpoint police on TG 2877 but they are not a very talkative group.

Eastpointe PD shares the TG with SCS and EPD are 30 cars not 1

Eastpointe and Shores operate on the Shores talk group. Eastpointe talkgroup they consider channel 2 now.

Roseville, ST.Claire Shores, and Roseville are consolidated under SERESA (Southeast Regional Emergency Services Authority)

Eastpointe is TG 2877 with the alpha tag of 50 EPPD.

Also the same for the fire departments they are also under SERESA which will be on TG 12619 with the alpha tag of 50SERFD so you will here them under there. There has been talk though to get rid of the SERESA FD Console but is unkwown at this time.
