Eave Mount Question

Does anyone know what the minimum distance between the upper and lower supports of an eave mount would be? I have a low angle roof on my shed and I want to put an ST2 antenna on a pole with a 10' piece of tubing. The shorter the distance, the weaker the mount. You'd be best off running your pole down to ground level, securing the bottom of the pole in concrete, running the pole through the eave mount, and using a longer pole (or 2 sections) than relying on the eave mount by itself.

Extending the pole down to the ground will also facilitate properly grounding the antenna.
