We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Congo’s Ebola outbreak might be declared global emergency

A top Red Cross official said Friday he’s “more concerned than I have ever been” about the possible regional spread of the Ebola virus after a new spike in cases, as the World Health Organization met on whether to declare the outbreak in Congo an international health emergency.

Having been to several hospitals over the course of about four years and going to the doctor periodically, it was and is a major concern because they all ask you if you traveled outside the country and at the hospital they had a place in the ER set up for any of the infected. Remember how you'd see on the news people coming back to the U.S. in biohazard level garments and what have you?

I remember the extensive scare and caution back in the early days of the HIV awareness. That is a virus that is difficult to contract, Ebola however is difficult not to contract.
