Edacs 16384 Id

I monitor Hartford, CT's EDACS system on Unitrunker and recently I have noticed user ID 16384 doing a ICALL with itself every 15-20 minutes. I have tried to manually catch the audio but either it is over too fast or there is no traffic. I am guessing perhaps it is a CW ID or some kind of EDACS ID. (I saw something in a search that it is the last user ID in EDACS, thats what made me think that it is a ID of sorts)

Hi Chris;

You guessed right. It is one higher that the largest possible EDACS LID (radio id). The program uses this to indicate the LCN tester (also called the CW ID).
