Edmonton changes

Towards the end of April, people monitoring Edmonton Police may hear some significant changes. Instead of a four division system, the system will be five divisions, comprised of North, West, Downtown, Southwest and Southeast. The new Southwest division will take areas from both the current west and south divisions. Each division will be further divided into four sectors, resulting in 20 sectors in the city. Happy listening. It should be pretty evident to anyone with a radio capable of receiving the analog police dispatch channels what channel is what when the time comes.

Starting to hear the new talkgroups. Just heard a unit on South West, TG 04-061

Also the old Ch 2 South is now being called Southeast TG 04-042.

Just a fyi, I heard some testing on TG 04-063 about an hour ago. I haven't heard any other traffic, so not sure the designation yet.
