I do like this Sheriff Terry Maketa, but he sure has been getting grumpy with the press lately...
Yesterday, El Paso County S.O. aired an officer safety BOLO on their main dispatch talk group for two "armed and dangerous" "persons of interest" in the murder case of the Colorado DOC chief, Tom Clements. The press heard it on their scanners and picked up the story. They requested info from the S.O. and they got some and went with it.
Now today the S.O. is putting out some new info to clarify.
