Ellis/Dallas Counties - Ellis-Dallas Unified Cooperative Team (EDUCT) received a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant that will be used to purchase a heavy rescue(stationed in Red Oak) and a support truck(stationed in Ovilla). They hoped to receive enough for a mobile command post, but didn't now, and will try to get that in 2005. Waxachie received a grant that they will use to upgrade their radio system.
