I know it was asked about this brand here but I’m looking for reviews opinions and experience with a few specific models from this company. Trying to decide what best fits the 800-900 band. I see very short versions em-mx0890 em-mx0746 and my focus antenna em-m11009. There’s a few more on the website that exceed heights I’m interested in. I have the NMO “Nut” EM-mx 450 and it’s very cool works good on my truck For UHF ham 440. The systems in my area I need the antenna for are 800/900 DMR and P25. Anyone with experience with these please post.

I've been trying out EM Wave antennas on my personal vehicles, but so far they are all VHF. Totally happy with them.

I have a few 800MHz systems at work, but haven't tried any of the EM Wave antennas on that yet.

Our county went to 700/800 and most vehicles are using the hockey puck or salt shaker for low profile.
Some few state police are using the PCTEL MAX7603S on trunk lip mounts. (my choice)
These all work well enough to satisfy state communications public safety.
Their pickups have the hockey puck on the roof.

I just got an EMWave 700/800MHz 1/4 for my XTS2500 and a VHF wideband 1/4 for my XPR5550.

Comparing THE 7/800MHz 1/4 wave to a 800MHz only 1/2 wave. Monitoring a 700MHz P25 simulcast system, RSSI with the 800MHz 1/2 wave is 127, EM 1/4 is 121, no antenna is 118. I'm about a kilometer from one of the simulcast sites.

I also got a VHF wideband 1/4. Impressed with the look and build quality of it, time will tell on performance. I'm not interested in pushing the envelope of range I need broad band, It's rated 144-174MHz. I also like a clean looking antenna. It checks all my boxes. It's attached to a 25w mobile. Not the cheapest antenna out there, but I'm not afraid to spend a bit of money for quality products. This antenna seems to fit the bill.

So far the two I purchased have done well. The coating seems like it's durable, better than my previous experience with the black coated whips from Larsen. The base seal works well, sort of flares out a bit when you tighten it down.
Not sure if I'd pay extra for these over the Larsen antennas for work application, but on the two personal vehicles, I like them.

And I've been really happy with the 1/4 wave. Never felt the need for the additional gain/narrower bandwidth.

The Base seal threw me off at first, but I quite like it. I will happily pay the slight premium for EM Wave

I acquired the EM-M11008 from antenna farm arrived today. It's doing a great job on my local P25 800 snacc system and statewide 800 edacs system! It is currently on my desk on a mag mount nmo. Will try it out more on the truck tomorrow. Noticed improvement so far positive results!!
