Hello all. I had just moved here at the beginning of June from CT. I am 17, and an EMT-B (CT allows 16 y/o to be EMT's). I have to call the National Registry the day after my birthday at the end of September to be changed to Nationally Certified.
I am still in High School, finishing up my senior year at Dothan High School (turning 18 in September) after getting my National Registered Certification, could I file for a certification in Alabama, even though I haven't graduated? It says somewhere on the application if I had graduated.

Do any of you think that I would have a problem getting my EMT license if I hadn't graduated? I've been practicing as an EMT for almost a year. Any help would be GREAT!!!

Why don't you just call the EMS office and ask? They'd be able to give you a straight answer, as opposed to the guessing you might find here. :)
