ESN and Serial number on the sticker are 2 different things.

Search the forum for sds200 esn. I know a few of the threads explain it.

Replace only the 26, not 260.

I assume you meant you replaced the z with 260 (which should be 26) however, as the ESN has no z in it.

Replacing the 26 in the ESN with z gives you the serial number. Replacing the z in the SN with a 26 gives you the ESN.

To see the ESN go to the LAST MENU ITEM in EACH MENU until it is shown.

I am trying to register on My Uniden also. ESN field only accepts 12 digits. Sentinel shows this 38326-048002136-OEB. and scanner shows 3832604882136-OEB It will let me enter only 12 digits of the 14 and it's accepted as one of my radios. When I tried to purchase a key that's when I seen the mistake and deleted the radio from list of radios. Then I ren-entered the radio, and it still only accepts the first 12 digits, I entered category selected was Radio Scanner and Model Selected was SDS100. And still not able to purchase a key due to incorrect ESN or check sum. The ESN purchase Fields only lets me enter 12 of the 14 and Sum accepts the 3 letters. .....OH MY

I found my solution with a bit more forum searching. I apologize.

If you're filling out the info on the form shown below to purchase an upgrade, be sure you're using the 14 digit Electronic Serial Number (ESN), and not the 12 digit Serial Number (SN). The first 5 digits of the ESN are already entered for you just above the blank space, so just enter the last 9 digits of the ESN in the blank space. Enter the 3 digits of the check sum on the next blank space.

If that doesn't work, be sure the model number and SN (serial number) were entered correctly when you registered your scanner.
