Nice :D

I'll suggest that you cut those crimps and adapters off though and install real right-angle BNC connectors, they're cheaper than adapters and are way way better for your signal.

Will the adapters really kill signal that much? Where can I find supplies to do this. I dropped $50 at ratshack tonight to get the cables to connect the radios. I left thinking that It would be cheaper If I made the stuff myself, but ratshack only had the screw on connectors. How much would a crimping outfit cost?

Nice setup!!

I really like radios (or any electronic gear) that has been racked and stacked!
The mini rack you have there looks very good- and makes the whole setup easily portable.
I am probably going to do the same with my UBC780's and BCD996T since they are very similar width.
Did you build them from a kit or were they already assembled?

The multicouplers are more items that I need to obtain- too many radio's and not enough antenna's. I need real ones (Stridsberg's) as I have already gone down the TV splitter road and they do not exhibit enough isolation between scanners.

As far as adapters go- I always try to avoid using them- especially above 400Mhz, but if the signals you want to hear are fairly local to you, then they will do a good job without noticable signal loss.

The "rack" is a Havis Shields consolidator from a old chief's car. I stood it on end. I only have the legit brackets for the 785D. The bc350a faceplate i made myself from lucite, and the 2055's are just stacked in. I used to have this box mounted in my car with other stuff in it, but my car has a center console now. I think that they were throwing out two of these at the time, I wish I grabbed the other one.
