Hi guys,
Whistler trx1 using the ezscan , have watched all videos of stu on AirShow World. Have followed instructions click by click .
Followed instructions and all looked good to go , scan set was set to #1 default and #15 enabled scanlist

Basically what i am trying to say is why does the first group of freqs that is stored on tx and is showing ready to scan ,(Sent to #2 scanlist) why does first batch freqs get over-written when attempt to send next batch of freqs . On the tx everything seemed and looked ok after checking it Clicked on File , copy current date to Vfolder.

It worked and stored on the tx...so had another go and made new config, new batch freqs, sent to #5 , exact same settings used before same method all ready to go....
Message on screen copy complete , then checked tx, #2 still shown but #5 did not show scanlist empty, Had another try, and lost #2 and 5 so had nothing on the tx at all.....it is currently empty and have nothing to listen to at all. And no matter how hard i try can not get anything inside tx .

Thanks guys

Okay, a little confused by what you are doing. Also not seeing if you are trying to add conventional or TRS freqs. Couple of things I will mention.

Scanlist 1 should be selected with all scanlists enabled. You will now leave that alone.
Now, go to add frequencies either manually or through library import add scanlist to the frequencies or if TRS to the talkgroups.
Go to the general settings tab and make sure the scanlist you selected for the freqs/TGs are enabled.
Save configuration to the scanner.

Now, when you want to add or change freqs you DO NOT start another configuration, you add it right to the EZ Scan setup that opens when you start it. Repeat steps above and save to the scanner.

AFTER the configuration is working I'd also strongly urge you to go to File in top left corner and find save configuration to archive, save the configuration each time you successfully make changes doing that in case.

I just take a screenshot on the PC/laptop. Different machines have different key combos. One laptop is a button with prt sc on it the other is Function+End button.

Back now...ok have followed everything above you gave , and saved config to achive. Switched back on radio...and on scanlist # the freqs were going to , it says on tx screen Empty Scanlist. (All the relative numbers are enabled so info will input to tx ...no info again shown , empty . (i can see it on pc screen.. but when it gets sent, does not and will not go to radio

On your scan set it should be set to 1-200, SW (though it should work the way you showed, it only needs to be set once for now to get this working)

You did not show the scanlists on the general tab are the scanlists 1 and 50 enabled?

Also, as @ChuckWillis55 suggested/asked let me see the CONVENTION Tab not scan list view. The Conventional tab is where you should be entering the freqs.

scan set it should be set to 1-200, SW <<<< This is what it showed when i first started program, but now it says scanlist 01 ????
On scan lists , i dont know if i am doing correctthing or not but i am only enabling the number i think i need for the freqs to go in ..what i mean is , if i wanted milair in say number 5, i would only click on box 5, and fill in...leaving al the rest empty.

Have tried to uninstall ezscan , hoping it would reset settings, so it would read 1-200, SW again , that did not work

The Conventional Frequencies tab is where you enter the frequencies. On the extreme right of that page is where you assign the frequencies to the appropriate Scanlist. Looks like you've figured that out, but I wonder why you chose 50 as the Scanlist. Just pick 1, unless you already have a Scanlist 1, with frequencies.
The scroll bar at the bottom of the EX-Scan page is still too far to the right.

On the box select scan lists , do i keep it box 1 on and then choose another number aswel ..my thinking is box 1 is default, so keep it on and choose say number 5 to put freqs in that scan set or scan list. , so it will scan.

At moment the tx here is on " nothing to scan "and is saying Not (i switch off tx while busy with ezscan )

Assuming you have the scanner connected, once you have entered the frequencies you have to send them to the scanner. If the scanner says "Nothing to scan" then the frequencies have not been loaded in the scanner. At the top of the EZ Scan page in the "file" row, there is a tab for
"Scanner/SD card". You must drop that down to access the programming options. You will want to "Copy configuration to scanner" in order to load your programming in the scanner.
