Signal definitions
Signal one means officer or firefighter needs immediate assistance. There are only four signal codes that are supposed to be used in the Washington metro area through COG (Council of Government) agreement. Signal one, signal two= officer needs assistance, non emergency response from responding units. Signal three= prisoner in custody. Signal four = dispatcher can go ahead with their radio traffic, the person I am with cannot hear the radio transmission.
