So I believe the city of Lancaster did a little switch up? They switch frequencies, DPL codes or over to marcs? Anyone know what is up?

SO cruisers being fitted up this week for MARCS. No FD on MARCS yet.
Will Fairfield County MARCS be moved to this thread instead of Fairfield County thread above???

We have submissions that I'd like to get confirmation on.

1. "Lancaster has changed over to 453.725 P25 NAC 28F or 247"

2. "Fairfield Co Sheriff is now on MARCS-IP TG 16501"

Can we get some confirmation from the regulars?

Tnx

I have heard some units on 16501 that sounded like the SO.

Thank you. I'll go ahead and add 16501 as Fairfield Co SO.

Hopefully somebody can confirm whether or not Lancaster PD has changed from 453.725 PL 131.8 analog to 453.725 P25 NAC 28f or 247

We had a submission suggesting that they switched to P25

453.725 NAC 28F P25

You might want to add it as a P25 freq with no NAC until you can verify that the submitted NAC is correct.

It is listed in the DB now, but with the 28F NAC.

The switch can't come fast enough. A large fire in Bloom Twp and they can't talk to mutual aid Columbus units.

Bloom Twp Fire has 800 MHz radios capable of talking to Franklin County (and Columbus) units; have had for years and use them regularly.

Sounds like an operational brain cramp on someone's part.

I thought all MARCS was 700 -800 mhz?

Lancaster is not on MARCS. They're using the same UHF frequencies they have had for years but with P25 instead of analog.

I have heard a few tests on 16501 and 16502. A lot of dispatch type traffic on the Interop TG 54542.

I have a yagi pointed at Lancaster, I will setup their frequencies as digital and see what I can catch.
