Good evening everyone,
I am trying to figure out how to import data from RR into a fastlane file called "DSDPlus.groups"
Or Fastlane (FMP24) automatically import it's data?

To DSDPlus.groups:
(example) P25, 16B7E.02E, 1505, 50, L/O, 26, 2018/05/16 15:29, "P25 user"

From RR database:
DEC HEX Mode
3502 dae D
3509 db5 D
3514 dba D

Thanks

From the .group file, exactly what field are you trying to change?

; line format: protocol, networkID, group, priority, override, hits, timestamp, "group alias"

Apart from "group alias", is it not all filled out by DSDPlus?

I was trying to figure out how to import records and aliases into DSDPlus.groups when the data has not been updated into the RR database.

automatically import it's data?

No, it's going to take some effort. Weather you manually add data or create something to do it for you.

So to get this right. You want to add records, that is records that DSDPlus has not added itself to your existing records then update both records with "group alias"

You mention using data
how to import data from RR
then say
import records and aliases into DSDPlus.groups when the data has not been updated into the RR database

So is your updated source data from RR?

  • What is the source and format of your DATA. Is it say comma delimited text (cvs) or direct from RR webpage.
  • How many are we talking about 20 or hundreds
  • Can you create batch file on the command line

Short answer is probably not easily, Most people just do it manually.

Possible option:
If source data is consistent like CSV, you could create a batch file to perform string manipulation on source file and output a file that could be copy/paste in to .groups file.

If source is not a file but just on RR webpage, you could use 'curl' to scrape the data from it. then do string manipulation on it.

Anyway just some thoughts.

Just copy/paste the text at the end of this posting into the top of your DSDPlus.groups file.

Or Fastlane (FMP24) automatically import it's data?
Sorry, no idea what you mean here.

Fastlane DSDPlusgroups

Hi, I must be missing something here, it seems to only listen to a few P25 groups I want, I spend most of my time adding L/O to others I don't want to hear in the dsdplusgroups and more new ones keep on coming, Is there a command or command line to ignore all group and to listen to a selected list of favorites groups?
Thanks

Use T/t keys to adjust voice monitoring threshold to below 50, so let's say to 40.

Set the priority level for desired groups below that, so to 30.
