FCC hires staff, orders vehicles to track pirate radio

Back in the early 80s i started listening to the pirates.FCC back then did very little to them.All these years later the pirates are still around! I fail to see this will get rid of the pirates.I have some QSLs from pirates from 80s and 90s.Enjoy getting them when i can.Pop Com was my fav for what was going on with pirates,web today makes is easy to get QSLs from pirates.WJDI is one i heard on 1610 am sent me nice pictures of the rig he used.Angelo

My old avatar on this forum was a tribute to pirate radio. Just do a search for “muskrat39” username. That was me in my former incarnation. Almost 1200 posts I made. I have a radio pirate myself once, although I didn’t do public broadcasting. I was a Free Bander. That was the pseudo channels above the authorized 40 CB channels
