Special attention FDNY guys...

I'm looking to get, not publically posted on here but via PM, the tones that go off in-house in the city (the "classic" Engine, Truck, Battalion sound)...

Before everyone goes jumping the gun with the whole "if they wanted you to know, they'd post it", "what are you going to use it for" etc etc etc... #1 I'm strictly curious, #2 I *may* use it for an in-house system by me.

Thanks to anyone with direct info or to anyone that can point me atleast in the right direction.

Thanks to all that replied... I guess I should have been more clear with my request. I'm actually looking for the actual frequencies (similar to the way pagers open up) for these tones.

Anyone?

If I remember correctly they were sent to each house via landline. I don't know if they have upgraded from that system.

I found the tone list with radio buttons, but could not hear anything.

BTW, that site is an excellent FDNY resource. Thanks for the tip!

I have copies of the actual .wav files somewhere. I'll try and find them, maybe you can duplicate them or measure the frequencies with software.

The tones don't do anything, like some other departments, they simply play in the firehouse over the computer and PA system, to let you know there is a ticket coming.
