?? Are you sure??

170.0000 has been a US Forest Service Air-Tactical channel, nationwide allocation

Allocations do get reused, but this would be a major Safety Concern if so

monitored 170.000, I have as USMS NAC 293encyrpted a lil while ago

Heard officers on 164.7000 P25 ( sorry no NAC useing a 396T) all weekend looking for a female that
lives on the streets here in Phenix City. I think they were USM. By the way they did find her and the officer told another officer on the radio " Man you were right I did smell her before I even set eyes on her."

Listen to 167.4375 (P25) early Monday morning. Officer was asking someone to run Lee County vehicle tags. He was in the clear but the other person was ENC. I know this is FBI A-2 channel.
Here is a freq. I heard about 9 PM EST Tuesday night, 164.6500 P25. One person was looking at a monitor and telling another person at a gate how to fix a camera. They were saying that it had be done right so they could watch who came thur without anyone knowing. Then someone was saying they did not see why do this they were only going to be here tell Friday. Can anyone tell who this my be?

JoJo, years ago when I was heavy in listening, 164.650 used to be Secret Service Channel "Tango" nationwide. It was used by S.S. here in B'ham as channel 4 simplex.

I think your right KEV200 about it being USSS, but I do not know why they would be in town.
Does the USSS protect state politicions because they were a lot of them in Columbus for the Georgia
elections ?

Where are you located? Don't know all the cities in AL. they have offices but S.S. does more than protect people. They investigate counterfeiting and some some cyber crimes I think. Bham office used to have a remote door to their garage with video cameras and I would hear them using their radios to adjust the cameras, etc. If you're near a military installation, it could possible be them. Some federal frequencies have been reassigned lately but not sure if that includes any old S.S. channels.
