Hi everybody,

Last week, I put together two wiki pages per request from the Federal Monitoring forum with a nationwide purpose: a collab to identify any unified agency- or region-based federal planning for Project 25 radio IDs and compiling a nationwide list of RID sets used for federal agencies or federal agency regions. In theory, this will help identify federal usage of systems in the future by giving people a page to reference.

The (very short right now) master list (for RID ranges) is here, while the local list for the State of Maryland (for RID dumping) is here. It seems to me that the Federal forum has a sparse and occasional readership (everyone was pushy and excited about it originally, but nobody's replied or done anything with it since I created it), so I figured it wouldn't hurt to make other people aware in my own area. As always with such things, your contributions to the collab are much appreciated, should y'all be interested and find the time.

Thanks!

I don't know why the two freqs aren't listed anymore.

I was either hearing it on 167.45 or 414.35... I think it was on the VHF one.

Both should be FBI Baltimore, and are hardly used.

Thank you! Not much federal listed in the database for Maryland.

Forgot to ask before, are they in the clear or mostly encrypted? Simplex? Thanks again.

FBI Baltimore can be heard on the following frequencies, all of them use NAC 167
167.6375
167.6625
167.6875
167.7875

DHS does a fairly good job keeping radio IDs consistent throughout the country, here is an example of them
FBI - 33xxxxx
Coast Guard - 581xxxx
CBP - 522xxxx or 521xxxx
USMS - 832xxxx

Awesome thank you! Any other federal frequencies worth listening too? I have FPS in my radio.

U. S. Park Police were pretty chatty trying to get people and equipment around in this weather, but it's settled down since...and now I have to determine if this is local interference or something else...appears every 15 seconds or so, but not precisely...

All encrypted, by the way, at least for all recordings I've had of them over the past five years.
