I'm not sure on where to post so its going here. Where would i find the freq's that Fedex Ground uses in Boise Idaho? I tried searching on the FCC website but i feel it was not the correct location. I just want to listen in, I have a Uniden BC125AT. Thank you for your help!

If you found it in another location, was it a freq and type you could monitor on the BC 125AT?

For Ada County, I see this license for Fedex:

Look at the emission codes on the license:

The 7K60FXW is DMR (also known as MotoTRBO). While I'm not in your area, Fedex Ground here in the DFW metro area does use DMR. If they utilize DMR in your area, then you won't be able to monitor them. DMR is a digital format, which your 125AT cannot decode.

What Steve is pointing out is that while the BC125AT can receive that frequency it can not handle a DMR transmission. For that matter any of the digital modes. Oh how I wish for the days when everything was FM or FMN and any receiver would fill the bill.

So if thats the freq for my area what would i need to be able to listen in, a digital scanner?

You would need a digital scanner capable of DMR.
The Whistler TRX-1 and TRX-2 do DMR right out of the box.
Uniden scanners require a paid upgrade to enable DMR.

I would go to the IDAHO discussion page in the forums and ask if that is the freq they currently use. Before you went out and bought a more expensive scanner for that. Then again, who amongst us has only one scanner!?!?!?!?
