Feds using TLK-100?

I agree that it may have been the TLK 100, most Fed agencies are using these now, looks very similar to the SL300

TLK-100's. Most large railroad police agencies in the US are migrating toward SmartConnect.

A different topic for a different forum but what makes you think the Feds are using TLK-100’s? (They are not).

I have seen some Fed (DHS) assets using them in place of LMR coverage in Maryland before I moved to PA, have not seen them in use in PA

I have personal knowledge of at least two federal agencies using them/similar for *some* ops, and a whole lot more using PTTOC apps (both Zello and Teams) for *some* ops.
I am still 'grandfathered' into a Zello talkgroup that is a mishmash of Federal agencies for casual chatter, even years after leaving that life.

I knew some feds using Zello, but had to stop because of FOIA issues. Since Zello is capable of recording, they were open to FOIA requests, even if they didn’t record.

That's the paid "Zello @work" feature. I know literally no one using that.
