For those of you like me, who have too many scanners and radio's than I care to admit. Here's a nice way to organize your shack's audio inexpensively. I was surprised how nicely Ammoon AM-228 compact mixer sounded. I have the ability to mix radios to the feed as well as mix local monitoring. Keep it in the line input mode, and you can get all kinds of 1/8"(3.5mm) adapters, and y-splitters for cheap at All Electronics, or Ebay. I use an old BC898T with Brandon's alpha tagging Python script for the Rasp Pi as the main feed. I use my BCD996XT to inject QCII tone outs from our local FD into the feed as a secondary function, when I'm not monitoring major events. I use a pair the Motorola HSN8145 speakers for outstanding communications voice audio, fed by a small "T-AMP" style stereo amplifier.
