I am seeking feedback from the folks who didn’t attend the last scanner meeting or any others in the past. I would like to know what could be changed so we can get more RadioReference members attending. Thanks!

Only reason(s) I didn't get to come is that it was the wife and I's ten-year anniversary on Friday, and my brother's birthday on Sunday. Would have been fun, but family first.

Just an idea, but maybe have "regional" meetings? One up North (Ft. Collins), one where we usually have them, one down south (Colo. Spgs.) and one out West (Grand Junction)? Again just throwing things out there. That could alleviate the long drives for some people?

Unfortunately, until I get physically better off I'm at the tender mercies of the only other driver around here and she's usually busy running children hither and yon. {WAN GRIN!} I *did* enjoy meeting some of the `northern contingent' over at Johnson's Corner when there was a bit of a `get-together' there. But this last summer just completely drained me and my Doc and I are trying to figure out why. {FROWN!}

Oh, well... Just an `Olde Fart's' 2¢ worth?

It's all about the location and the drive for me. Even though I'm in C-Springs, it's still about an hour drive each way...
I like jfab's idea of moving it around, however.

What about car pooling? I know there are several up north, west, and south that if interested could ride together and save gas. The same for anyone east of the metro area.

I know alternative places were talked about before and besides the Johnson's Corner location (do they cater to private parties?), are there any other restaurants that will have us??

Sunday's don't work for me. I came to the one meeting that was on a Saturday quite a while ago now. If that happens again I'll most likely be there.

I do honestly believe that in theory we could hold 4 separate meetings. One up North, East(Luke's),South and west. I could make the meetings up north and East. And depending on the time of year I would not mind driving out West some to meet some of the western plain members. I really do think we have a big enough scanning community to have 4 separate meetings, and all 4 would be well attended.
