Are there any fire buff clubs in central or south Jersey? I'm only aware of the Metro Fire Buff organization in North Jersey.

Thanks

You also have Firecom Radio based somewhere out of Momouth County in New Jersey. I'm too far north to hear any of the activity, but you might want to give them a try:

462.6500 "Central" 114.8
461.2750 "South" 203.5
462.5750 "Allaire" 210.7
464.5000 Fireground Channel--(simplex) 151.4

I thought FireCom's South channel changed to 462.250R (114.8)? Is it back on 461.275R?

Also, does the Those Guys group (461.250R, 223, WQGN-438) cover central Jersey?

firecom covers central jersey monmouth/ocean/mddlsx etc but the fire traffic is very minimal down here so we don't communicate too much. every so often if there is a job, someone may pop up to give report. 461.275 "south" pl is 103.5 there is also e-net in middlesex county 461.575 91.4 463.575 91.5.

Yes, Metro Fire Radio South is the best out there and they have a strong repeater. The other Buff clubs have to much "none fire related BS/chatter" on them.

i am in no way bashing anyone.great bunch of guy's.the courtesy beep on the south tower is enough to drive you nut's. i had to put them in their own system in my scanner with a minus 2 second delay.at time's i have to lock them out. if someone is not making the repeater to well,or someone is "kerchunking" the machine, the courtesy beep will annoy the living hell out of you. imho.

I do agree with you on the courtesy beep.

Are there any fire networks like that further south in New Jersey? Something that covers say Burlington, Camden, Atlantic, Gloucester and Salem Counties?

1st Responder Radio Network was on 451.95 DPL 732 out of I believe Hamilton Twp, Atlantic County with a good signal, but I haven't heard them in a while.
