40 months for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of radios... then starting a fire to cover up his tracks... seems the new DA is in the business of protecting her own, if you know what I mean.

Strange as it sounds, many L.A. area fire stations were built with racquetball courts. I have no idea why. Must have been one of those trendy things at the time.

I remember reading a magazine article in the late 1970s, that talked about this fire station in the Northeast that had a tennis court, and 6-8 bowling lanes from AMF. Now that would be fun.
