    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Where did you hear about this channel name? There is a DTR channel called "Larimer County Fire", TG 9157. AFAIK that channel is not patched to a conventional frequency. That's the only channel I know of associated with "Larimer County Fire".

I was listening to a fire up here in Larimer County on the fire net and herad them say go to Tac-2. I have 154.385 & 9157 in for Larimer County fire net. Ok thank you, they got the fire out so guess I will have to wait for next fire which I hope they don't have another one..
