Not much activity today, with the lower temperatures and higher humidity, most of the airtankers went to other larger fires.
An air attack took off early morning for the Shellrock Fire north of Helena, heard him talking to ground crews
was trying to do recon for ground crews to let them know how they did overnight.
Air attack could not get down low enough for visual "look" due to a smoke inversion above the fire area,
left area and came back to Helena.
The BAE 146 tankers and SEATs (single engine air tanker {Airtractors}) left and went to other fires.
Some of DNRC freqs active.

Updates as I hear them.

Wasn't around for monitoring in a.m.. But lots of activity this afternoon with Lead plane, air attack and airtankers working the 476 Trail fire.
Most of the comms on 132.2 am.
Several rotary wing aircraft working on spot fires and the SEATs trying to build fireline, eventually "heavy" tanker came in (BAE 146)for drop to build fireline.

We will see what tomorrow has in store as it is supposed to get warmer and lower humidity throughout the week.

Updates as I hear them.
