Anyone try the new firmware update for the SDS100? What are your thoughts?

That is strange sentinel only says im already updated with 1.05.00m
Was 1.05.01m pulled offline?

I believe this may be a mistype on the TWIKI... if not my apologies but on 08/12/18 public beta 1.05.00m went to public release...

Using today to catch up on a little housekeeping, since my office schedule has been (and will continue for a while to be) rather erratic.

Updates to the latest version including a typo update from the open beta 2.00.08 and also we address the issue some people are having with directory access rights.

Appears to be improved on NJICS versus last official firmware. No more random loss of control channel (which also wasn't a problem for the original official firmware).
Some folks have commented that recorded transmissions no longer show UID, so if that's important to you, you may want to hold off. Seems to be the only major complaint so far.

I reported and submitted debug files on transmissions dropping on Phase 1 P25 systems in the beta firmware. I tried the public release and the problem is still there. This might not effect all systems as I'm finding out. UID's are not always showing up during playback. I reverted back to firmware version 1.04 where the dropping transmission issue wasn't as evident . UID issue was also happening in version 1.04 which I did report. I'll wait for future firmware upgrades.

Went to Sentinel (I downloaded the new Sentinel v2.10) and went to update firmware got this message. Scanner has FW 1.05.00. Software states I have the latest version.

The most recent public beta has been upgraded to release status. If you already installed it, then there's nothing to upgrade to.
