I've tried to check the firmware was up to date on my SDS100, and I get this error. Any idea what I'm doing/have done wrong here?

It looks as if you accidentally selected to do a database upgrade instead of firmware.
That E: drive are supposed to be your SD card. Use file explorer in Windows and see if you can look in any folder of that SD card.
Sentinel needs to have access rights to that drive and its folders.

Upgrade keys are not stored on the SD Card. They are stored in the internal memory on the scanner motherboard.
I print my copies and keep them in a safe place.
I make PDF copies and keep them in multiple places.

Thank you

I save all my keys to text files on several different drives.
