FleetNet Zone 2 Demorestville Tower

Located in west end of Trenton, using HP2 with SRH 789 antenna. I've had intermittent issues getting consistent reception from this tower for years. Sometimes its great, sometimes it's trash.

Has anyone else had issues here? Perhaps I'm just in a bad spot with not enough antenna elevation.

Mainly scanning for OPP.

I have seen several sites with bad antennas. Check the signal strength also monitor EMS for noisy signals in certain areas. This will come and go.

So, it turns out to be an issue on my end with interference from laptop I'm using for feed.

Update: it's actually when my audio cable is plugged into headphone jack to line in on laptop.

When unplugged, everything is coming in crystal clear, nothing missed. Seems only P25 affected.

Very strange. Posted in Uniden Tech Support but haven't had much help. I figured I'd reach out in here 😊
