Cody Blaine Jones. Follow da Google-Fu. Don't know when the video was but the crime happened about 4 years ago. Town of Southport in Bay County. He does not seem to be "as" whacktastic as some of the other upstanding Florida citizens that have played wannabe cop are.

okay guys, i found all that stuff, I was curious if anyone had been discussing it WHEN IT HAPPENED here in the forums. because I Dont see any posts about Washington County going down or being interrupted.

You're not seeing that because that didn't happen in this case. He transmitted on their systems (2). That's it. Some people like to overstate things and say he interrupted the system operation for authorized users by transmitting on it himself, making the system unavailable for authorized users. While technically true (I suppose), he didn't disable it or interrupt the operation of the system in any way beyond taking up airtime which can accurately be described as transmissions in length of normal radio traffic messages.
He epitomizes the saying that there is an azz whole for every toilet.

Wowzers. There is a lot to unpack here. So he screwed with Washington Counties DMR and Bay Counties P25. This guy thinks like he's a busted elite white hat hacker in some kind of hacker movie. He brags to the det telling him the person who setup their system made a lot of mistakes, he then tells the detective he doesn't want to say those mistakes because it's his "bargaining chip". Tells the det that "he guarantees nobody else in the county can do what he did except for sys admins who do it for a living" He's pretty arrogant and stupid. Oh of course he's also a police impersonator

Besides impersonating on the radio he then screwed with the system then did something I've never heard a whacker do before. They inhibited his radio, so he inhibited theirs back. He then tried to extort them telling them to leave him alone and he'll leave them alone. WOW just wow!!!

The subject also set off "alert" tones on the Washington County Sheriff's Office dispatch radio frequency. The same subject later transmitted on Washington County EMS radio frequencies, identifying himself as "EMS-3" and "Medic-121."
At one point, a police lieutenant sent a radio signal to the transmitting device, intending to shut down the unauthorized transmissions. A short time later, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a series of the same signals, which shut down the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communications Center radio for several hours. The unknown subject made multiple attempts to continuously disable Washington County Sheriff's Office radios, and sent disabling signals to EMS radios which disabled EMS communications for 13 hours, and later, again, for about seven hours. A radio text message was subsequently received from the unknown subject advising, in essence, that he would leave the police alone, if they left him alone.
He stated on video this was him "returning the favor" They inhibited his radio so he inhibited theirs...What a malicious twerp. Then sent them a message to which claims if they stop inhibiting the radio ID he bootlegs for his fake calls and screwing with their system, he'll stop inhibiting their radios which he claims this is part of his plan for them to... In his words... "mutually coincide" This guy is nuts N-U-T-S

Can you even stun a DMR Radio? in conventional mode, honest question as Washington County (Chipley) is DMR Non Trunked, this is an honest question out of curiosity and im genuinely not familiar if that's possible

If Washington county has RF control stations, not wireline, for consoles, it would be possible for him to stun the RF control stations and disable the dispatch center consoles. It sounds like this is what he did.
A silly game that will get him 3 hots and a cot for a long time.
