Thanks for adding support for the SDRPlay RSP2! I'm really excited to use the SDRPlay for following trunked systems.

How does one set up the voice channel follower to share the bandwidth available on the RSP2? It isn't possible to start up a second instance of FMPP for the voice channel follower.

The Airspy support doesn't include using the full available bandwidth for simultaneous voice and control channels so I hadn't expected them to implement it with the RSP2

I'd have thought RSP1 /1A more likely candidates for use with fastlane. The 1A is great value for money now. In practice a cheaper device for control channel and Airspy R2 for the voice seems to work very well. Not much trunked APCO P25 to test it with over here unfortunately.

I'd like to see support for the duo but that's a technical thing...for general trunking use two 1As would make more economic sense unless support for single device with multiple VFOs is introduced.

Is there any trunk following software that makes full use of the RSP2's bandwidth for a single SDR solution?

SDR Console has a very nicely integrated solution to use virtual tuners with DSD+, but I've never been able to get voice decoding to work

I'm getting this error when trying to run fmpp with an RSP2 any ideas:-

SDRPlay API version = 0.0
SDRPlay API not supported

Same thing happened to me when I first unzipped the files and ran them. At risk of sounding like the IT Department, did you reboot? Only reason I say that is that Windows Update forced a reboot on me, and the next day it worked. I was getting the same dialog box error mesage

A reboot made no difference, same error message:-

SDRPlay API version = 0.0
SDRPlay API not supported

Perhaps the API version is important? - SDRplay released a new version for all devices about a week ago. Prior to that there were different versions of the API for different devices.
I don't have an RSP2 to test but out of interest tried with the duo and 1a - I get the same error shown by woodpecker

Great - so if I upgrade to 3.02, FMPP will quit working. Time to see what useful changes were made in 3.02...

Not necessarily - I just wondered if the API version might be significant given the error message that was quoted and knowing that the API was changed in the past week.

With the new files it recognises and correctly reports the API version....it even seems to start an RSPduo. Not had chance to check to see if it does actually control it yet and as this is drifting off topic I'll leave it there for now.
