Forsyth fire encrytion

Forsyth county fire recently we to an encrypted 800 system. Do they simulcast on another frequency as a go around for monitoring?

That would kind of defeat the entire purpose of the talkgroups being encrypted, wouldn't it?

Guess I'm just trying to figure...down one inch and 3/4 on a trash fire...needs to be secret. There are some places that simulcast to pages. That's why I asked.
