Does anyone know what frequencies the Fort Madison Penitentiary uses. I looked in the 800mhz band and no control channel found. I assume they use conventional frequencies.

It looks like the state of Iowa has some repeater licenses in Fort Madison

453.375 - this one is commonly used at other facilities around the state.

460.125
460.275

Try these and post back here if you find anything so I can update the database.

I haven't worked that submission yet, been really busy with work. Maybe over the weekend unless someone else beats me to it.

I have noticed that the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has a 1300 MHz Licensed Frequency here at Muscatine. Not Sure what it would be for, as there is no State Penniteniary anywhere in Muscatine County. The closest is at Mount Pleasant, Fort Madison, and Anamosa.

Heard these last weekend:
453.375 (127.3 PL) - most active repeater
460.125 (141.3 PL) only heard briefly

453.375 is their main freq
They should have a secondary freq------somewhere in the 453.xxx area.

460.125........I am surprised you heard anything on that at all............It is a data link for the electronic fence monitor.

154.995 is the mobile radio frequency statewide for the DOC
ISP is NOT on a trunked system at this time.
